After the Taste of Lawrence Festival, I peeked in at the Corso Italia Toronto Fiesta to check it out. As with many of the other festivals we've attended for the past couple of weeks, local food was not the main attraction. You would think an Italian festival would have Italian food, wouldn't you? Instead, they had the same old vendors selling hotdogs, sausages, cotton candy, and roasted corn. Isn't that strange?
Like the Taste of Lawrence Festival it was a nice, family-focussed event with lots of rides and games for the kiddies, but if you are interested in food this isn't the fair for you. You would think that a city as multicultural as Toronto could organize one fantastic multicultural food fair, but I haven't found it yet. Have you?
